SO FAR SO WEST WEBTOON canvas series.

Our first WEBTOON series this week is luciano_damit is SO FAR SO WEST. It’s a fantasy action series that just sings to my Wild West gunslinger heart and mixes it with my supernatural needs. It follows cowboys with supernatural powers in a desperate search for an ancient artifact called “The Devil’s Right Hand”. But why is everyone so obsessed with this thing? What is the ultimate goal of the Ghost gang and who are the Dancers? Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime full of duels to the last ball.

Here’s a secret for you guys. I’m obsessed with westerns. Mostly thanks to my slight obsession with Val Kilmer and tomb stone. So of course, SO FAR SO WEST fills a need I didn’t really think I needed. It’s written in the style of a shōnen western and interweaves fantasy elements that make it more than just your typical western. It is full of action with shootouts and old western brawls right from the start, and every chapter is filled with excitement. Seriously, don’t miss it.

Acquisitions Office: invitation required WEBTOON Canvas Series.

Our second WEBTOON series is by Essi Mathews Acquisitions Office: invitation required. This series mixes two more of my favorite genres, historical and science fiction. It is set in 1868 London, where the upper and lower classes are divided, literally, and memories of the Automata Catastrophe of 1865 haunt public memory. This leads to inventing behind forbidden for the masses causing it to become an alley activity. If you want to take advantage of this market, you will need the Acquisitions Office to help you.

I love historical stories that mix fantasy and sci-fi elements. Acquisitions Office: invitation required transports us to a time in London that has been explored many times in books, films and television. But what sets this WEBTOON apart are the sci-fi elements in it. It spices up the story in the best way and raises questions about what would happen if they banned making up. I also really appreciate the little history lessons that pop up from time to time.
