RSO: Find out how to apply for funding on October 5

The Associated Student Government’s Office of Financial Affairs will be hosting funding briefings throughout the fall semester. The sessions are scheduled on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, October 5 4:00 p.m. Arkansas Union 507-508
  • Wednesday October 13 3:00 p.m., Arkansas Union A640
  • Tuesday October 26 1:00 p.m. Arkansas Union 507-508
  • Monday, November 8 2 p.m., Arkansas Union A663 (RSO meeting space)
  • Tuesday November 16 2:00 p.m., Arkansas Union 507-508
  • Wednesday December 1 3:00 p.m., Arkansas Union 507-508

Each fundraising session will cover how registered student organizations can successfully apply for OFA funding for conferences, special events and administrative fees. The presentation will include step-by-step instructions on submitting a budget on HogSync, the best budget tips, and COVID guidelines for events that receive funding. The budget request process can be found on HogSync under your RSO’s HogSync page or on the ASG website under Office of Financial Affairs.

The Office of Financial Affairs is also offering one-on-one fundraising consultations this year! If you would like to have a one-on-one funding consultation before submitting a budget request or to improve your RSO’s knowledge and effectiveness on the funding process, please contact Student Body Treasurer Hanna Patel at [email protected] to schedule a consultation or for any questions.
