Kantar Acquisition of Numerator Completes and Creates Global Leader in Buyer Behavior


LONDON–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Kantar, the world’s largest data analytics and consulting company, today completed the acquisition of Numerator, the Chicago-based market and consumer intelligence company focused on Vista technology Equity Partners. Numerator combines proprietary data, including a digital panel of over one million U.S. consumers, with cutting-edge technology to create unique insights that help businesses understand their customers in real time and identify opportunities for growth.

Numerator extends Kantar’s leadership in buyer knowledge in the United States and Canada. Kantar’s Worldpanel division already provides information on “money-grade” buyers in more than 45 countries outside of North America. The combined dataset will provide insight into the purchasing habits of nearly five billion consumers worldwide, informing growth strategies for the world’s leading CPG / FMCG brands.
