Huge Names Global Head of Data and Information

In London, Huge, the IPG-owned digital marketing and experience design agency, has appointed Frisco Chau as global head of data and insights.
Chau (pictured) joins after eighteen months at M&C Saatchi and its data consultancy Fluency, where he served as chief data officer. Prior to that, he worked for Accenture Interactive as Senior Manager: Data Strategy Lead; for the jewelry brand Pandora as Global Lead – CRM Data Steward, Governance & Strategy; and for Infosys as Senior Director, Practice Lead – Consumer Marketing and Innovation, Europe. Earlier in his career, Chau was Director of Brand Consumer Analytics – Marketing Intelligence at adidas Group, having also held leadership positions at OgilvyOne, MassMedia Studios and Metrix-Data.
In her new role, Chau will focus on building and scaling data products and services, and integrating data into Huge’s creative process, reporting to Lisa De Bonis, Global Chief Experience. Officer. Mat Baxter, Global CEO of Huge, comments: “Creative businesses have always been quite scared of data and viewed it as the enemy of creativity. Huge is this last school of thought: big data liberates, inspires and enables great creativity. It’s something we want to invest in.”
