Ashton Kutcher on Jimmy Kimmel Live previews upcoming project and reveals how his wife responded to his mustache


In one of his interviews with guest host David Alan Grier on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ashton Kutcher revealed his next project and went public with his wife’s reaction to his mustache for his upcoming role. Kutcher is set to return after a Texas-sized character in BJ Novak’s directorial debut, Vengeance.

During the conversation, Kutcher spoke at length about the role and the script: “This character, when I first saw him, I was like, ‘That’s interesting.’ He had a bit of this Boss vibe. Hog for him.” He added, “I was like, ‘Okay, I think this guy has, like, this sophisticated air.’

Regarding the mustache and the way it was taken from his partner, Kutcher added, “We’ve been together for seven years. She said, ‘Oh, that’s like another guy!’

In the interview, Kutcher also revealed how Kunis made him give up his ticket to space through Virgin Galactic. He said, “I was supposed to be on the first flight,” he added, “and then we had kids and she said, ‘Do you want to be on the first flight or, like, on the 50th flight? She sounded logical and — yeah, she made me give up.

Kutcher recently opened up about his battle with vasculitis, during the interview, however, he did not mention his condition but referenced his preparation to run the marathon.

He explains: “Went for a practice run last weekend, did about 17 miles, my nipples started bleeding, man.” He continued, “What’s going on right now? My legs were fine, but my nipples were on fire.”
